Support work from Monday to Sunday and Public holidaysAt Latitude Production, my aim is to create a space where people can express themselves through music, and provide that outlet for creativity.
Services will include the use of instruments, i.e. synthesiser, guitar and bass guitar (I can teach the basics for any newbies!), and the use of music production programs on a computer, such as Ableton. Through a participant’s journey with Latitude, we will also go through the foundations of creating music, such as structuring a song.
Another focus once the music has been created, is the ‘what now?’, where we can go through the avenues of what to do once the project is out there.
I am more than happy to work with different learning styles, and adapt to what works best for each individual.
As far as my background goes, I have been working as a Disability Support Worker for 2 years, and I have completed my Cert IV in Youth Work. I have run music events in the past, and I have been producing music and DJing for the past 6 years. I produce music under the name ‘Bombada’, play in a band called ‘DJ Centipede and the Earthworms’, and I have also recently started playing in a duo ‘Middle Earth’. I am fortunate enough to have a full studio set up in my house, and I want to be able to use this to help those who want to learn, but don’t know where to start.
The main purpose of Latitude Production is to provide a service where people can come into my studio and freely express themselves. I want to be there as a mentor with music, but also build a relationship with these individuals, and still support them in all aspects of life if need.
