Cleaning, companionship, transportation, household tasks, meal prep, Day routineAs a sole trader working as a support worker, my role is to provide invaluable assistance to individuals in need of support. I offer a range of services, including social companionship, household tasks and cleaning, shopping assistance, and support for mental health. I have the privilege of working closely with two clients who have autism, and our bond is a testament to the positive impact that a support worker can have on the lives of individuals with unique needs.
By engaging in social companionship via outings, conversations and shared experiences aid form meaniful connections for my client to feel safe. It enhances their interaction skills and provides a sense of belonging.
Additionally, I am responsible for assisting with household tasks and cleaning. It is essential to create a safe and comfortable living environment for my clients, as it can greatly contribute to their overall well-being. I ensure that their surroundings are tidy, organized, and free from potential hazards. By taking care of these necessary tasks, I enable my clients to focus on their personal and developmental goals while providing them with a conducive environment for growth and development
In my role as a support worker, I also provide assistance with shopping. This includes accompanying my clients to the grocery store, helping them make choices, and ensuring that they maintain a healthy lifestyle. The mere act of visiting different places and engaging in social interactions during shopping trips contributes to their overall social development
Mental health support is a critical aspect of my work as a support worker. Many individuals with autism face unique challenges when it comes to their mental well-being. Through empathetic listening, emotional support, and tailored strategies, I help my clients navigate their emotions and develop coping mechanisms. By fostering resilience and equipping them with the tools to manage their mental health effectively, I empower my clients to lead more fulfilling lives and reach their full potential
Working with two autistic clients has further deepened my understanding of the challenges that come with supporting individuals with autism. Autism is a complex and often misunderstood condition, but it should never define an individual's potential or happiness. My collaboration with my clients is a testament to the transformative power of genuine connections and the immense impact a support worker can have on the lives of those they serve

Counselling and Coaching for Improved Daily Living and Capacity Building.Inner Quest Coaching: Practical, Real-World Support For Improved Daily Living 🌟
I am an registered NDIS Counsellor dedicated to coaching and mentoring, I focus on Improved Daily Living and Capacity Building, offering a supportive approach that builds confidence while reducing the stigma often associated with traditional therapy.
What I Offer
Ages (9-65) NDIS framework Improved Daily Living Capacity Building (Item code 15_043_0128_1_3).
I believe in the power of connection and kindness—whether it’s offering a hug to someone in need or checking in with a stranger who looks lost or sad. These small acts remind me of the strength we all have when we feel seen and supported. That’s the foundation of my work as a counselor: creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to take steps toward a more fulfilling life.
Living with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia (AUDHD), I know what it’s like to struggle in a world that doesn’t always understand difference. I left school early, started working as a tradesperson at 15, and by 20, I was running my own business, hiring people who had been overlooked by the system. For over 20 years, I built businesses and helped others find their place—but I always felt something was missing.
That something was helping people more directly. After experiencing severe trauma and crippling anxiety, I reached a point where I didn’t know how to keep going. Seeking help led me to ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), a mindfulness-based approach that transformed my life. ACT helped me move past my struggles by focusing on what truly matters to me, even when life felt overwhelming. It taught me how to embrace my challenges rather than fight them, and to take small, meaningful steps toward the life I wanted. These tools not only saved me—they’ve allowed me to thrive.
Now, I help others discover how ACT and mindfulness can work for them. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, feeling stuck, or struggling with life’s challenges, I’ll guide you to uncover what’s important to you and take actionable steps to get there. With ACT, you’ll learn to handle difficult thoughts and feelings in a healthier way, freeing up energy to focus on the things that truly matter. This isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you see that you already have the strength to move forward.
For NDIS participants, my focus is on helping you build skills and confidence to live a more fulfilling life. Together, we can work on emotional regulation, building resilience, developing coping strategies, and creating a vision for your future that aligns with your values. ACT’s practical, easy-to-learn tools can make everyday challenges feel less overwhelming, allowing you to feel more in control of your life.
If you’ve been feeling lost, misunderstood, or unsure of your next step, I want you to know that change is possible. With the right support and tools, you can live a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you are. I’d love to help you get there.
