The life of working in disability found me, having two children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum and finding out how to best support them and myself as their carer.

Whilst they were quite young I completed my diploma in counselling largely from home and then also went on to complete my degree in Social Sciences in psychology.

As the children got older I decided that I wanted a job that could help me with giving back to the community and became an NDIS Local Area Coordinator (LAC) and gained a multitude of experience of the inner workings of the NDIS.

Later I decided that I wanted to have closer professional relationships with participants and their families, and continue to gain experience in Support Coordination and Recovery Coaching whilst also branching out into working for myself.
