About Advocate OT

A human approach to assistive technology, modifications & capacity building. Telehealth functional capacity assessments/reports/therapy plans/recommendationsAdvocate OT is a small business offering bespoke Occupational Therapy services. Bespoke to us means

You are human first and a participant second; and Your voice is the most important. It's our job to listen to your ideas, help you feel heard and support you to bring your ideas to life with our strong report writing skills and evidence-based research.

We only work a small number of participants at any one time as our Therapists' are also human first, Therapist second. This allows them to ensure you receive regular communication and follow through whilst maintaining their own health and well-being. If a Therapist doesn't look after themselves they cannot provide safe support to others.

We primarily support people living with neurological conditions such as

Multiple Sclerosis Parkinson's Disease Stroke Brain Injuries Adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorder and; Non-complex Mental Health.

Our services primarily include but are not limited to:

Assistive Technology (low, medium and high cost including complex seating i.e. custom power wheelchairs). Home modifications (minor and complex) Functional capacity assessments Complex report writing and letters of support Capacity building for daily living Carer training and education Plan and self-managed NDIS only at this stage.
