STA/MTA respite property SSRCSpecialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC)
We provide support in our SSRC accommodation by caring for children and young people between the ages of 7 to 17 with disability outside the family home. SSRC provides respite for children and young people who are living with their family members/ carers or are placed in Out of Home Care (OOHC).
SSRC is an arrangement between a parent/guardian and an organization for their child, to receive overnight care away from their usual home, it can be a one-off arrangement made in an emergency or involve frequent or long-term care. This care is away from their usual home for 3 or more nights in any 7-day period, it must be for respite or behaviour support, funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
The services provided by SSRC include: accommodation, meals, personal care, and support with daily living tasks. We also provide a range of therapeutic and recreational activities to promote socialization, skill development, and overall wellbeing.
Under SSRC we offer:
-Emergency Short Term Accommodation (STA)
-Short Term Accommodation (STA) Up to 2 weeks stay in SSRC
-Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) upto 90 days stay
NDIS Core and Capacity Building Supports
Paramount Support Services delivers a range of disability support services for NDIS participants from the ages of 0 to 17.
We also provide these services to adult NDIS participants who are self managed and plan managed.
Group/centre activities– CAPACITY BUILDING (0136)
This assistance Involves supporting an individual to access recreational activities such as camping, arts or drama classes, sporting events or group trips to movies or museums. The intention of this support is to facilitate friendship building and social skills.
Participate community- CORE SUPPORTS+CAPACITY BUILDING (0125)
This assistance is aimed at supporting individuals to be more involved in the community, particularly social and recreational activities.
Household tasks -CORE SUPPORTS (0120)
Development life, skills – CAPACITY BUILDING (0117)
Daily tasks. Shared living – CORE SUPPORTS (0115)
Assist travel transport- CORE SUPPORTS (0108)

Capacity Building – Increased Social and Community Participation
Psychosocial Recovery Coaching - Psychosocial Recovery Coaching in NDIS is equivalent to Mentoring and Youth Work Support which have been in place with the sister agency Paramount Youth Services since establishment in 2015.
