Support worker for young adults or children with special needsI am a support worker with 4 years of experience in a day care center working for the Icelandic goverment. 6 to 9 years old childs with special needs (mostly on the Spectrum, down syndrome, paralysis, dissociative disorder, tourette, aggression and personality disorders)

I am new in Gold Coast, 34 years old woman, originally spanish and fluent english speaker. I bring recommendations from my past jobs as support worker and housekeeping. I have my NDIS, blue card, police check and ABN available.

I am full of energy, have big sense of humor, love to helping to improve, treat each person with the dignity they deserve, I can easily adapt to different conditions and needs, I am a strong and honest person,

What I would like most is to work with people who are on the Spectrum. Thanks to my last job with this type of children, I learned a lot about the value of difference, of knowing how to give freedom and discipline at the same time, I learned a subtle and sensitive way of communicating that they themselves taught me, and I find it simply amazing to be able to do this job and continue learning at the same time.

I love working as a support worker and I am open to new challenges and above all willing to give my best in everything I do.
