My Ability Support was established in 2019, with the vision of creating an innovative NDIS and Aged Care Support service, that provides flexible support services to individuals and families. Our Team has extensive experience with a diverse range of clients from all backgrounds within the Disability, Aged Care, Community Services, Social Work, Childcare and Child Safety sector. Thus, giving our team an authentic lens of positive person-centred care and a holistic approach to support. We currently provide Disability Support Services within the Greater Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, and Lockyer Valley regions of South-East Queensland. My Ability Support’s Mission is to support clients to reach their goals by harnessing their inner abilities.

Activities of Daily Living - Personal Care

We provide support that promotes your independence and assists you with developing the skills to live as autonomously as possible. We know that each individual has different needs and requirements, we tailor the care to suit your needs. These supports may be provided in your home.

Our services include assistance with:

Showering, Dressing, and Toileting Getting in and out of bed Mobility needs - Moving around the house Meals; Planning, Preparation, Cooking, Cleaning up Managing your Bills and Budgeting Community Access - pursuing your interests and hobbies, shopping, appointments, etc. Accessing your Social Networks

Depending on your individual needs, you can expect compassion, respect and a mindful approach to your comfort. You can also expect a high level of confidentiality and privacy from our team.

Household Tasks - Inside and Outside

We help participants in a variety of tasks such as:

vacuuming and mopping floors dusting and wiping surfaces kitchen cleaning including sinks, taps, benches, microwaves bathrooms including toilets, showers and baths

Our services are not restricted to those inside the house, but also activities such as:

Garden Maintenance Lawn Mowing, Garbage disposal Other approved household tasks which have been negotiated in the individual’s support plan.
