Art classes for adults that focus on the therapeutic benefits of creativity.I offer art classes for adults, who are looking to begin a therapeutic hobby. My sessions are 2 - 4 hours long and cover a wide variety of media and styles, in small groups of up to 10 people. After teaching art in schools for almost 30 years, I now focus on helping adults learn the skills they need to build up their art confidence so that they can enjoy a lifelong hobby. After becoming a widow (by suicide) at the age of 44, I started this business to support and improve the mental health of others. I provide a supportive and relaxed environment where individual learning styles are catered for. I specialise in teaching raw beginners how to get started, by teaching all the best parts of the school curriculum, mixed with mindset work so can also enjoy the therapeutic benefits. These classes are for you if want to develop your creative thinking skills, learn how to use a wide range of art materials but need inspiration and mentoring. My programs are offered on weekdays and weeknights. I also offer weekends workshops on specific topics.
