About One On One Counselling

We are experienced and qualified to offer support of the highest quality. We are a trusted Provider dedicated to offering support and counselling for a range of issues including anxiety and depression; life challenges; relationship difficulties; grief and loss; stress; adjustment and personality disorders. Our philosophy acknowledges that life can be hard and presents many challenges to us all and that it is a normal part of being human to struggle with this at times. Many of the difficulties we face create great distress and unhappiness and it is our goal at One One One Counselling to offer positive support by teaching appropriate skills to improve quality of life. Should the particular issues be diagnosed as a specific mental illness, we are trained and experienced to also work with people in this space and have the capacity to work productively with other carers and medical professionals to put together a comprehensive Treatment Plan which is goal and recovery focussed. Our main intervention modalities include Mindfulness; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Strengths and Person Centred counselling which are focussed on empowering individuals to use their inherent strengths to make the positive changes they identify. We are also trained and experienced in undertaking Risk Assessments and formulating Safety Plans as appropriate. An integral part of the work we do is to focus on the building of trust and rapor in a space which is non-judgmental, safe and shows the genuine interest and concern we have for all people that we have the privilege of working with.
