Melbourne Speech Pathology Clinic
We are a team of compassionate, highly experienced, and innovative speech pathologists. We are committed to offering person-centered, ethical, and evidence-based assessment and care for adults and children in the areas of communication and swallowing.
Our private speech pathology practice offers two streams.
Clinician-led adult and paediatric services with fully qualified speech pathologists. Student-led adult and paediatric services under the supervision of our highly experienced speech pathology team. Fees are set at a reduced rate to reflect the clinical teaching component.

Adults
support in the areas of: oropharyngeal dysphagia, voice (dysphonia) & chronic cough, speech (dysarthria, dyspraxia), language (aphasia) & cognitive communication difficulties, fluency; alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) support participants with diagnoses including: Autism Spectrum Disorders; Intellectual Disability; neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, dementia, motor neuron disease, etc); oncology related conditions; age and respiratory related changes to swallowing (e.g., COPD); structural changes to head and neck anatomy; and many more.
Children
help children to develop their skills in: the production of speech sounds (articulation) and oral movement; using words correctly to talk in sentences (grammar, vocabulary and expressive language skills); understanding what others are saying and following instructions; reading skills (literacy); speaking fluently (stuttering); social skills; using an alternative method of communication such as symbols, sign and pictures support children with a wide array of diagnoses, including: speech, language and developmental delays; autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disability, and many more
